Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Italy

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Italy. The plans that carry the “UNLIMITED” name give 5 GB per day at full speed; once that daily limit is reached the speed drops to 1024 kbps, so the data is not unlimited.

Travelers who need more data can choose fixed‑data plans such as the Italy 20 GB for 30 days plan or the Italy 10 GB for 30 days plan, which offer larger data allowances at full speed for the validity period. These options may be more cost‑effective unless a user requires very high data consumption.

Kolet does not offer any eSIM plans for Italy that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider sells only data‑only plans. Travelers who need to make calls or send text messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but should verify that these apps are accessible in Italy before purchasing a plan.

Kolet offers 13 single‑country plans and 31 multi‑country plans for Italy. The plans range in price from $3.99 to $104.10 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB. Of the catalog, 23 plans have a fixed data cap, giving a set amount of data for the entire validity period, while 21 plans implement a daily data cap that resets every day, allowing purchasers to spread usage over several days. These options accommodate both short‑term travelers and longer‑staying visitors.
