MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Italy

MTX Connect does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Italy. All available plans have a fixed data cap, the largest of which is 10 GB.
Travelers who need more data can select a high‑capacity plan such as the 10 GB EU+ plan, which offers 10 GB of data for 30 days, or the standard 10 GB plan with the same validity. Other options include 4 GB for 14 days or 2 GB for 7 days. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more economical than repeated smaller purchases, especially for users with significant data consumption.

MTX Connect does not provide Italy eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s Italy offerings are data‑only, so travelers cannot make traditional voice calls or receive text messages through the eSIM. However, internet‑based messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over the data connection.

MTX Connect currently offers seven multi‑country eSIM data plans that cover Italy. There are no single‑country plans available for this market. The plans span a price range from about $4.05 to $34.81 and provide data caps between 350 MB and 10 GB, with validity periods ranging from one to thirty days.
