Tourist eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Italy

Tourist eSIM’s “Unlimited Data” plans for Italy are structured as fixed‑data bundles that reset each day. Each plan supplies a defined amount of high‑speed data per day—examples include a 5 GB/day allowance on an Italy • Unlimited Data • 7 Days plan and a 5 GB/day allowance on an Italy • Unlimited Data • 30 Days plan—after which the data speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. These bundles are therefore not truly unlimited; they cap high‑speed data but may continue at reduced speeds after the daily limit is reached. If a traveler needs a larger continuous supply without any daily limits, they could consider a fixed data plan such as the 5 GB data plan valid for 30 days, which allows unlimited use of the data within the specified period without subsequent throttling.

Tourist eSIM does not provide a plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability for Italy. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered by this provider in the destination. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging; however, they should verify that these apps are accessible in Italy before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP services.

Tourist eSIM supplies 21 single‑country data plans for Italy. These plans fall under two main categories: fixed‑data plans, where a set amount of data is allotted for the validity period, and daily‑data‑cap plans, which allow a maximum amount of data per day. Prices for the Italian plans range from about $1.86 to $426.78, while the data limits span from 1 GB up to 750 GB. The validity of the plans can be as short as one day or as long as a full year. There are no dedicated multi‑country bundles that list Italy as one of the included destinations.
