Truely eSIM Data Plans for Italy

Truely does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Italy. The provider’s Italy offerings are fixed data plans, such as a 20GB plan valid for 30 days, a 20GB plan with no expiry, and a 10GB plan valid for 30 days. These plans give a hard data cap that must be used within the stated validity period, unless the traveler chooses a Pay‑as‑you‑go option, which is not listed for Italy.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer who would benefit from an unlimited plan.

Truely does not offer an Italy eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The plans available from this provider for Italy are data‑only, so travelers will not receive an international or local Italian number on the device.

Travelers who need voice or text to stay connected can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations block or restrict access to specific apps or VoIP services, so users should confirm that the apps they rely on are accessible in Italy before purchasing a Truely eSIM.

Truely offers nine single‑country data plans for Italy and nine multi‑country plans that include the country. Prices for these plans range from $1.69 to $44.99, while data caps span from 300 MB up to 20 GB. The plans normally deliver a fixed amount of data, but some may impose a daily data cap that depends on the chosen validity period. Tethering is allowed on applicable plans.
