Esimtrav eSIM Data Plans for Japan

Esimtrav does not currently provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Japan. All of the available Japan plans have a fixed data allowance; for example, the Japan 20 GB – 30 days plan costs $24.99 USD and the Japan 10 GB – 30 days plan costs $15.99 USD. These plans give a set amount of high‑speed data and do not switch to a reduced speed tier after the limit is reached. Travelers who need more data can choose a larger fixed‑data plan or combine multiple plans, but an unlimited high‑speed option is not offered by Esimtrav at this time.

Esimtrav does not provide a eSIM plan for Japan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All of its Japan plans are data‑only, meaning users receive no local voice line and cannot send or receive SMS. Travelers who need messaging or calling can use Internet‑based VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection.

Esimtrav currently offers six single-country data plans specifically for Japan. These plans range in price from $4.99 to $175.25 and provide data allowances between 1GB and 20GB. Plan validity periods extend from 7 to 30 days. Esimtrav does not currently list any multi-country plans that include Japan as one of the covered countries.
