Jetpac eSIM Data Plans for Japan

Jetpac does not provide a genuinely unlimited data eSIM for Japan. The plans that carry the label “Unlimited” set a daily cap of 3GB per day; after that limit is reached, speed is reduced to 1024kbps.

Travelers who need more data can opt for one of Jetpac’s fixed‑data plans, such as the Japan 30GB plan for $29.99 over 30 days or the Japan 40GB plan for $34.99 over 30 days. These plans offer larger data allowances without daily throttling and can be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Jetpac does not offer eSIM plans for Japan that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available.

Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but a local phone number and traditional SMS service are not part of any Jetpac Japan eSIM offering.
