Ozly eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Japan

Ozly eSIM does not provide any unlimited data plans for Japan. All of the eSIM options that are currently available from Ozly eSIM for the Japanese market have a fixed data allowance.

Travelers who need a larger data amount can choose from Ozly eSIM’s fixed‑data plans, such as the Japan 50GB plan that is valid for 30 days or the Asia‑20 50GB plan that is valid for 180 days. These fixed plans offer high data volumes and are often more cost‑effective for users who do not require truly unlimited data.

Ozly eSIM does not provide a Japan eSIM with a temporary phone number or SMS capability. The only Japanese eSIMs offered by Ozly eSIM are data‑only plans.

Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to send messages or make calls over the data connection, as these services work without a local phone number or SMS capability.

Ozly offers six single‑country data plans that cover Japan and 52 multi‑country plans in which Japan is included. The plans vary widely in cost, ranging from about $1.65 to $171.20, and in data allowance, ranging from 500 MB to 50 GB. Validity periods span from one day to a full year. Most of the plans provide a fixed data allocation; a subset offers a daily data allowance that resets each day. Many of these plans also allow tethering.
