WonderConnect eSIM Data Plans for Japan

WonderConnect does not offer an unlimited data eSIM plan for Japan. Travelers who need data for a visit can select from fixed data plans such as the 50GB plan, which is priced at $45.00 USD and is valid for 30 days, or the 20GB plan at $21.45 USD, also valid for 30 days.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost effective for most users, unless a traveler is an extremely heavy data consumer who would exceed the highest available allowance.

WonderConnect does not provide Japan eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available from this provider. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection for voice and text communication.

WonderConnect provides six single‑country plans that cover Japan and five multi‑country plans that include Japan. The price of these plans ranges from $5.00 to $150.00, while data caps vary between 1 GB and 50 GB and validity periods run from 7 to 30 days. Some of the plans support tethering.
