ZenSim does not provide a plan that offers truly unlimited high‑speed data for Japan. The only plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name give 3 GB of high‑speed data per day for the validity period and are otherwise identical to standard fixed‑data plans. After the daily allotment the speed is typically throttled or the connection may end, so the data is not unlimited in the conventional sense.

ZenSim does offer several fixed‑data options that can suit most travelers. For example, a 20 GB plan for 10 days costs $32 USD, while a 20 GB plan for 30 days is $35 USD. A 10 GB plan for 30 days costs $18 USD, and there is also a 5 GB plan for 10 days for $13 USD. Choosing one of these fixed‑data plans may be more cost effective unless a user expects to consume data at extreme levels.

ZenSim does not provide any eSIM plans for Japan that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are offered. Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection instead.

ZenSim offers eight single‑country data plans for Japan and no multi‑country plans. Among these, two plans use a daily data cap, meaning the data allotment is reset each day, while the remaining six provide a fixed data limit that lasts for the entire validity period.
