Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Malta

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Malta. Their plans that carry the “UNLIMITED” name give a fixed allowance of 5GB per day at full speed; once that daily limit is reached the speed is automatically throttled to 1024 kbps. Travelers who need more data without the speed cut can choose one of Kolet’s fixed data plans, such as the 20 GB for 30 days offer or the 10 GB for 30 days option.

Kolet does not provide a Malta eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only eSIMs are offered for travel in Malta.
Without a local number or traditional SMS service, travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to certain apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify that the communication apps you rely on are available in Malta before purchasing a Kolet plan.

There are 13 single‑country data plans and 31 multi‑country plans available for Kolet in Malta. The plans span a price range from roughly $3.99 to $104.40 and offer data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB, with validity periods that can vary from a single day up to a full year. Some of the plans use a fixed data amount, while others employ a daily data cap.
