Yesim eSIM Data Plans for Malta

Yesim offers unlimited data eSIM plans specifically for Malta. The unlimited options start at $3.49 USD for a 1‑day plan, go up to $66.25 USD for a 30‑day plan, and are also available in longer periods such as 40 or 80 days for $126.69 USD and $231.30 USD respectively. All of these plans use 5G networks and allow tethering, but the provider notes that speeds may be throttled after heavy usage due to a fair‑usage policy. Travelers who are concerned about potential speed restrictions should contact Yesim to confirm the typical amount of data available at normal speed for their intended use.

Yesim does not provide an eSIM for Malta that includes a phone number or the ability to send SMS. Traveler purchases from Yesim will receive a data‑only plan that can be used for internet access, Wi‑Fi calling and messaging through VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage. These apps rely on an active data connection and do not require a local phone number. However, some destinations may restrict or block certain VoIP services, so travelers should confirm that the apps they rely on are accessible in Malta before purchasing a Yesim plan.

Yesim offers 9 single‑country plans and 27 multi‑country plans for Malta.
The available options range in price from roughly 0.53 USD to 234.66 USD, with data caps that vary from 500 MB to unlimited. Validity periods spread from 1 day to 365 days. Some of the plans come with tethering, are available only to new users, or may have speed throttling.
