eSIMCard does not provide a true unlimited‑data eSIM for Mexico. All of the plans that carry “Unlimited” in their names actually include a fixed data cap—most commonly 1 GB or 2 GB, sometimes spread over several days with a daily allowance (for example 1 GB/day for 7 days or 2 GB/day for 3 days). After the allocated amount is consumed, the speed is throttled to a reduced rate such as 512 kbps or 2000 kbps.

If a traveler needs a large, uncapped allowance, eSIMCard offers fixed‑data plans such as 50 GB for 30 days or 100 GB for 31 days. These plans provide unthrottled high‑speed data without a hard limit, making them more cost‑effective for heavy data users compared to the nominal “Unlimited” plans.

eSIMCard does not offer Mexico eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for Mexico. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and messaging.
