RoamGo eSIM Data Plans for Mexico

RoamGo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Mexico. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” actually give a fixed high‑speed data allowance each day—such as 3GB/day or 1GB/day—and once that daily limit is reached the speed is throttled to a reduced rate (for example 1000kbps or 384kbps). These are fixed data plans with a speed reduction after the cap, not unlimited data.

Travelers who need more high‑speed data can choose RoamGo’s fixed data plans that offer larger data amounts, such as the Mexico 50GB 30Days plan or the Mexico 20GB 30Days plan. Both plans are valid for 30 days, provide 5G coverage in Mexico, and may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users than the capped “Unlimited” options.

RoamGo does not offer any eSIM plans for Mexico that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need a data connection in Mexico can purchase a RoamGo data‑only plan and use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over that data link. However, some destinations may restrict access to certain apps, so travelers should confirm that the VoIP services they rely on are available in Mexico before purchasing.

RoamGo’s catalogue lists 46 single‑country plans and 113 multi‑country plans in total. The dataset does not provide a country‑specific breakdown, so the precise number of plans available for Mexico cannot be determined from the available data. Across the entire portfolio the price range spans from $1.44 to $643.50 and data caps go from 500 MB to 50 GB, with 91 plans featuring daily data caps and 68 plans offering fixed data amounts.
