nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Mongolia

nextSIM does not provide a plan that offers truly unlimited high‑speed data for Mongolia. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually give a fixed amount of high‑speed data—1 GB or 2 GB per day—and after that limit is reached the speed is reduced to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose from fixed data plans that offer larger allowances, such as the 10 GB 30‑day Premium plan or the 20 GB 30‑day Premium plan. These plans provide high‑speed data for the entire validity period and may be more cost‑effective for most users unless very heavy data usage is required.

The nextSIM provider does not offer any Mongolia eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for travelers heading to Mongolia. Pass‑through services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage can usually be accessed over the data connection for voice and messaging, but this is not guaranteed as some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP services; travelers should confirm that these apps work in Mongolia before purchasing a plan.

nextSIM offers 15 single‑country plans and 22 multi‑country plans for Mongolia, for a total of 37 distinct data plans. The plans listed on eSIMDB span a price range from about $8.14 to $1, 279.70 and provide data caps from 1 GB up to 50 GB. Among them, some plans provide a fixed data amount, while others offer daily data caps; the daily plans are tailored for short‑term use, whereas the fixed‑cap plans are designed for longer trips up to 90 days.
