Astaroam eSIM Data Plans for Philippines

No Astaroam eSIM plan provides truly unlimited high‑speed data for the Philippines. The plans that use “Unlimited” in their name actually give 3GB per day for a set number of days, after which the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps.

If unlimited data is required, travelers can choose from Astaroam’s fixed data plans, such as a 50 GB plan valid for 90 days or a 20 GB plan valid for 30 days. These plans offer a large, fixed amount of high‑speed data and can be more cost effective for most users, except for extremely heavy data consumers.

Astaroam does not provide a Philippines eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who use an Astaroam eSIM in the Philippines will receive only data‑only access; however, VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage can usually be used over the data connection for calls and messaging. Because some destinations may block or restrict access to particular apps or VoIP services, users should confirm that the services they rely on remain available in the Philippines before purchasing an Astaroam eSIM.

Astaroam provides 12 single‑country plans and 26 multi‑country plans for travel to the Philippines. Prices for these options range from $1.98 to $48.51 and data caps vary between 500 MB and 50 GB. Validity periods span 3 to 90 days. Plans are split into two types: 11 daily data‑cap plans that reset each day and 27 fixed data‑cap plans with a set amount of data for the entire validity period. Many of the plans allow tethering and include a reduced speed option of 1 Gbps.
