Gigapanda eSIM Data Plans for Philippines

Gigapanda does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for the Philippines. Every plan that carries “Unlimited” in the name limits high‑speed data to 3 GB per day; once that daily cap is reached, the connection is throttled to 128 kbps.

Instead, Gigapanda offers fixed‑data plans that allow a set amount of high‑speed data over a 30‑day period, such as a 50 GB plan or a 30 GB plan, after which the speed similarly drops to 128 kbps. These fixed‑data options give travelers a large high‑speed allowance and may be more cost‑effective than a pay‑as‑you‑go approach for most users.

Gigapanda does not offer an eSIM plan for the Philippines that includes a phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only eSIMs are available for that destination.

Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to certain apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify that the needed applications work in the Philippines before purchasing a plan.

Gigapanda offers twelve single‑country data plans for the Philippines and does not provide any multi‑country plans for that destination. These plans range in price from $6.90 to $59.90 and provide data caps between 3 GB and 50 GB, with validity periods ranging from 3 to 30 days. Of the twelve plans, seven feature a daily data cap that resets each day, while five provide a fixed data amount that remains constant throughout the plan’s validity. Some plans include a reduced speed option of 128 kbit/s.
