Ovosim eSIM Data Plans for Philippines

Ovosim does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for the Philippines. All of its plans list a specific data cap, such as 3GB/day, 5GB/day, 2GB/day, or a fixed amount like 20GB, and the validity period is limited to a set number of days.

Travelers who need a large amount of high‑speed data can choose from Ovosim’s fixed data plans. For example, a 20GB plan is available for 5 days, and a 5GB/day plan can be purchased for up to 30 days. These fixed data plans offer a substantial data allowance and can be more cost‑effective for most users compared to an unlimited plan.

Ovosim does not provide eSIM plans for the Philippines that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs from Ovosim for that destination. To make voice and text calls, users can rely on Internet‑based messaging and VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that those services are accessible in the Philippines before buying a plan.

Ovosim provides 32 single‑country plans and 58 multi‑country plans that include service in the Philippines, a combined total of 90 plans. The available plans range in price from about $5 to $114 and carry data amounts from 1 GB up to 20 GB, with validity periods between 5 and 30 days. Plans are also available in two data‑cap styles: fixed‑amount plans that give a set amount of data for the life of the plan, and daily‑cap plans that limit the amount of data that can be used each day. Tethering is allowed on some of the plans.
