AeroSims eSIM Data Plans for Portugal

AeroSims does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Portugal. The plans that carry the name “Portugal Unlimited” actually give 5GB of high‑speed data per day and, once that amount is used, the speed drops to 512kbps.

If a larger data allowance is needed, AeroSims offers fixed data plans such as the Porto 50 GB/30 days plan for $42.90 USD and the Porto 20 GB/30 days plan for $16.90 USD. These plans give a set amount of data without a speed reduction and can be more cost‑effective for most travelers unless they are extremely heavy data users.

AeroSims does not provide a Portugal eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS functionality; only data‑only plans are available for this destination. Travelers who need voice or text messages can use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, although some apps may be blocked or restricted in Portugal, so it is advisable to verify that the applications you rely on are accessible before purchasing.

AeroSims offers a total of 42 different data plans that include coverage in Portugal. There are 12 single‑country plans that provide data only for Portugal, while 30 multi‑country plans combine Portugal with other destinations. The plans span a price range of $3.90 to $104.00 and a data cap range of 3 GB to 50 GB. Within these plans, AeroSims offers both fixed‑data packages — which deliver a set amount of data for the entire validity period — and daily‑data‑cap options, where the data allowance is reset each day. The daily data‑cap plans number six, whereas the fixed‑data caps number thirty‑six.
