Globie eSIM Data Plans for Portugal

Globie’s plans for Portugal do not include a truly unlimited data option.
The “Unlimited” branded offers provide 3GB per day for a set number of days, and after the daily allotment the speed drops to 1000kbps. These are fixed‑data plans, not unlimited high‑speed bundles.

If a traveler needs a larger, fixed data allowance, Globie sells higher‑capacity plans such as the 50GB plan for 30 days or the 20GB plan for 30 days, both available on 5G networks in Portugal. These plans give a set high‑speed data volume and do not throttle speed until the allotted data is used.

Globie does not provide Portugal eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available from this provider for Portugal. Travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but they should verify that these apps are not blocked or restricted in Portugal before purchasing a plan.

Globie offers a total of 28 data plans for Portugal, divided into 12 single‑country options and 16 multi‑country options. The single‑country plans are daily data‑cap plans, meaning the data allowance is refreshed each day within the validity period, while the multi‑country plans are fixed data‑cap plans that provide a set data amount for the entire validity period. Across all plans the price ranges from $3.49 to $95.99, the data caps span from 1 GB to 50 GB, and the validity period is between 5 and 30 days.
