MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Portugal

MTX Connect does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Portugal. All available Portugal‑targeted plans have a hard data cap of 10 GB for a validity period of 30 days. For travelers who need more data, MTX Connect offers fixed data plans such as the “Portugal 10GB Unthrottled” plan, which delivers 10 GB of unthrottled traffic within Portugal, and the “10 GB EU+” plan that offers 10 GB for 30 days across Portugal and 35 additional European countries. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective than purchasing larger data volumes repeatedly, except for users who are extremely heavy data consumers.

MTX Connect does not offer any Portugal eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All plans available from MTX Connect for Portugal are data‑only, with no inbound or outbound voice or SMS services. Travelers who need voice or messaging can rely on data‑based VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, but they should verify that these apps function in Portugal before purchasing a data‑only plan.

MTX Connect offers five single‑country plans and eleven multi‑country plans for Portugal. The plans provide data amounts from 1 GB to 10.11 GB, prices ranging from $2.11 to $34.60, and validity periods between 7 and 30 days. Single‑country plans give a fixed data allotment that is usable only in Portugal, while multi‑country plans allow the same data cap to be used across several destinations, offering greater flexibility for travelers.
