Roambit eSIM Data Plans for Portugal

Roambit does not offer any unlimited‑data eSIM plans for Portugal. All plans listed for Portugal are fixed data plans with a set data cap: for example, the Portugal 50GB 30d plan gives 50GB of data for 30 days at $24.99 USD, and the Portugal 20GB 30d plan offers 20GB for 30 days at $14.99 USD. Other high‑data options include the Europe 50GB 180d plan, which covers Portugal and 31 additional countries for 50GB over 180 days at $59.99 USD, and the Global 50GB 30d plan for 50GB in Portugal and 59 other countries at $99.99 USD.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost effective for most travelers in Portugal, unless extremely heavy data usage is expected, in which case a pay‑as‑you‑go plan may be more appropriate.

Roambit does not provide a Portugal eSIM with a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need phone number or SMS would need to look for a different provider or rely on VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to specific VOIP apps, so it is advisable to verify the availability of the apps you rely on in Portugal before purchasing.

Roambit lists six single‑country plans that cover Portugal only. In addition, there are ten multi‑country plans that include Portugal as part of a broader regional bundle. The available plans vary in price from about $4.99 to $99.99, with data allowances ranging from 3 GB up to 100 GB, all valid for 30 days. Many of the plans include the option to tether the device to other peripherals.
