Skratch eSIM Data Plans for Portugal

Skratch does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Portugal. The plans that contain “Unlimited” in their names only supply 2 GB of high‑speed data per day; once that daily allowance is exceeded the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps for Portugal (or 384 kbps for the Europe‑wide versions).

Instead, travelers can choose a fixed data plan. For example, the Portugal 50GB 30d plan offers 50 GB of data over 30 days at 5G, while the Portugal 20GB 30d and Portugal 10GB 30d plans give 20 GB and 10 GB respectively for the same period. These fixed‑data options provide a clear, finite data allowance and can be more cost‑effective for users who need a substantial amount of data without the daily cap and speed throttling of the “Unlimited”‑style plans.

Skratch does not provide a Portugal eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need a local number should use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, though they should confirm that such services are accessible in Portugal before making a purchase.

Skratch lists 12 single‑country data plans and another 12 multi‑country plans that can be used while traveling to Portugal. The offerings vary from short‑term, low‑cost options of just a few gigabytes to higher‑end plans that grant up to 50 GB of data for up to 30 days, with prices ranging from $3.99 to $239.70. Some plans use a fixed data cap, while others allow a daily data allowance, giving customers flexibility depending on whether they prefer a set amount of data for the full validity period or a daily quota that lets them manage usage every day.
