MTX Connect offers mobile internet for more than 90 countries with a single eSIM. The unique services such as MTX Subscription and Free Chat Option differentiate us from other eSIM providers.
“I noticed that the pay-as-you-go option does not appear in the plan listings on esimdb, which caught my attention a little. After actually using it, I personally feel this is the most convenient option.
Because it is fully usage based, you can keep using it seamlessly even when moving between countries, which is incredibly convenient. With cheaper flight tickets, long layovers at airports in China are common, and sometimes you may want to head into the city for a short while. In those situations, it feels a bit wasteful to purchase a one day plan or a large data package, so this option fits perfectly.
Airport WiFi is available, of course, but connections can be unstable, and SMS verification is sometimes required, which often makes it more troublesome than expected. That is why having the reassurance of being able to connect immediately on your own mobile line, even during immigration, feels very valuable.
Overseas roaming is also available with ahamo and Rakuten Mobile, but there are still countries that are not covered. Having this set up as a dual SIM feels like something that could really help in an emergency. I also appreciate that LINE and WhatsApp continue to work even after the main data allowance has been used up. It is a small detail, but genuinely useful.”
MTX Connect for Singapore FAQ
Does MTX Connect offer unlimited data eSIM for Singapore?
MTX Connect does not have an unlimited data eSIM for Singapore. Instead, travelers can choose from several fixed data plans that offer Singapore coverage. For example, a 10GB plan for 30 days or a 4GB plan for 14 days are available. These plans provide a set data allowance that must be used within the validity period; selecting a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless a user is an extremely heavy data consumer.
Does MTX Connect offer Singapore eSIM with phone number and SMS?
There are no MTX Connect eSIM plans for Singapore that include a phone number or SMS capability. MTX Connect only offers data‑only eSIMs for this destination, so travelers will not receive a local or international number that can send or receive text messages.
Because the plans are data‑only, users can still make and receive calls or send messages with popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection. However, destinations can restrict or block specific VoIP services, so travelers should verify that the apps they rely on are available in Singapore before purchasing.
How many data plans does MTX Connect offer for Singapore?
MTX Connect offers three single‑country plans that cover Singapore alone and three multi‑country plans that include Singapore in a broader regional package. Prices for these plans range from roughly $3.57 up to $34.72 USD, while the data caps span from 1 GB to 10 GB over a validity period of 7 to 30 days. Some plans deliver a fixed data amount for the entire period, whereas others operate on a daily data cap, giving users flexibility to match their usage patterns.
