MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

MTX Connect does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Taiwan. All available plans are fixed‑data caps.

Travelers can choose from fixed‑data options such as a 10 GB plan valid for 30 days at $35.20 USD or a 4 GB plan valid for 14 days at $17.60 USD. These plans offer a larger data allowance than smaller options and are generally more cost effective for most users, unless a traveler is an extremely heavy data consumer who would prefer an unlimited plan.

MTX Connect does not provide an eSIM for Taiwan that includes a local phone number or SMS capabilities. The available plans are data‑only, so travelers cannot receive or make traditional voice calls or texts with the device. For communication, users can rely on VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which work over the data connection and offer messaging and calling without a phone number.

MTX Connect offers four multi‑country data plans that can be used in Taiwan (there are no single‑country plans). The available plans range in price from $4.09 to $35.20, with data caps between 350 MB and 10 GB and validity periods from one to thirty days.
