Saily eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

There is no truly unlimited high‑speed data plan from Saily for Taiwan. All Saily plans that use the word “Unlimited” in the name actually provide a fixed amount of data—5 GB per day for the duration of the plan—after which the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. If you need a large data allowance without a hard cap, you can choose a fixed data plan such as the Taiwan 20 GB 30‑day bundle, or the Taiwan UNLIMITED 30 days plan which offers 5 GB per day for 30 days with the same reduced speed applied after the daily limit is reached. These fixed‑data options are usually more cost‑effective unless you expect to consume data beyond the daily allowance.

Saily does not provide eSIM plans for Taiwan that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need a number or the ability to send text messages will find that Saily offers only data‑only plans for this destination. Users can still communicate over the internet using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage while connected to the Saily data plan, but it is advisable to confirm that the specific apps one relies on are accessible in Taiwan before making a purchase.

Saily lists 11 single‑country plans and 22 multi‑country plans for Taiwan, giving users a total of 33 data plans to choose from. The available options range in price from $3.99 to $159.99 and in data cap from 1 GB to 30 GB, with validity periods that can last anywhere from 5 days up to a year. Within this range, some plans are structured as daily data caps (12 plans) while the rest provide a fixed‑amount cap for the entire validity period, allowing travelers to select a short‑term burst or a more stable data supply for longer stays.
