Nomad does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for travelers in the United Arab Emirates. All Nomad plans titled “unlimited” still allow only 2 GB of high‑speed data per day; after that amount the plan’s speed drops, so it is not a flat unlimited offering. Travelers who need more data can choose from Nomad’s fixed‑data options, such as the 20 GB plan valid for 45 days at $29.00 USD or the 50 GB plan available for 365 days at $170.00 USD, which cover the United Arab Emirates and provide a larger data allowance without unlimited data. These fixed‑data plans often offer a better cost‑to‑data ratio unless a user requires a very high quantity of data.

Nomad does not provide United Arab Emirates eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. All eSIMs offered for the UAE are data‑only.

Travelers can still stay in touch by using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection and allow voice and text communication without a phone number or SMS.
