Halo eSIM eSIM Data Plans for France

Halo eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for France. The plans that carry the label “France Unlimited” give 3 GB at full speed each day and then reduce the speed to 1 Mbps for the remainder of that day; the high‑speed portion is capped daily, not unbounded.

For travelers who need more data at full speed, Halo eSIM offers fixed data plans such as France 20 GB / 30 days for $21.14 USD or France 10 GB / 30 days for $15.85 USD. These plans give a larger, unthrottled data allowance over a set validity period and can be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Halo eSIM does not provide an eSIM for France that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The only plans available for France are data‑only, so travelers can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, so passengers should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in France before purchasing a Halo plan.

Halo eSIM offers 12 single‑country data plans for France, allowing travelers to choose from a range of options that cover only France. In addition, 16 multi‑country plans that include France are available, enabling coverage across several destinations during a single subscription. The plans overall span a price range of roughly $2.63 to $82.62 and provide data caps from 1 GB up to 20 GB. Halo distinguishes between fixed data cap packages, which offer a set amount of data for the entire validity period, and daily data cap packages, where the allotted data can be used on a daily basis. Some plans also offer a reduced speed option of 1 Gbps for certain data caps.
