Sim Local eSIM Data Plans for France

Sim Local does not provide a plan that gives travelers in France truly unlimited high‑speed data. The plans that have “Unlimited” in the name are actually fixed‑data plans that offer a set amount of high‑speed data each day—for example, the France Unlimited Data for 7 days plan supplies 5 GB per day, and the France Unlimited Pro Data for 7 days plan supplies 10 GB per day. The same daily limits apply for the 15‑, 30‑, 60‑, and 90‑day versions of those plans, and after the allotted packet is consumed the speed may be reduced (the reduced speed is not specified).

For travelers who want a larger, non‑daily plan, Sim Local offers fixed data options such as the France eSIM – 200 GB for 15 days, France 100 GB for 31 days, or the Orange Holiday Europe 200 GB and 100 GB plans for 31 days. These plans provide a single data allowance that must be used before the validity period expires.

Sim Local does not offer a France eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only plans for France, so travelers will not receive voice or SMS services on the network. For voice and messaging, users can rely on internet‑based VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage to communicate over the data connection, but they should confirm that these apps are accessible in France before purchasing a plan, as some destinations may restrict specific services.

Sim Local provides 14 single‑country data plans that cover France only, and 25 multi‑country plans that include France among other destinations. The single‑country plans give a fixed amount of data for a set validity, whereas the multi‑country plans can be structured as either fixed‑data or daily‑data‑cap options, allowing travelers to purchase data on a daily basis if they prefer. Across all France‑centric plans, the price range spans approximately $4 to $202.50, while the data caps vary from 1 GB up to 200 GB.
