Mi eSIM eSIM Data Plans for France

Mi eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited eSIM plan for France. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually offer a 1GB/day allowance and throttle speed to 512kbps once that limit is reached, so the data is not unlimited.

Travelers who need more data may choose a fixed data plan instead, such as the 100GB eSIM Data for 30 days in France, V2, or the 50GB eSIM Data for 30 days in France, V2. These plans grant a large hard data allowance and have no speed throttling once the data cap is reached, making them a cost‑effective choice for heavier data usage.

Mi eSIM does not provide eSIM plans for France that include a phone number or SMS service. Travelers who buy a Mi eSIM for France will receive a data‑only plan. Although a phone number or SMS capability is not available, users can still make voice and text communication through VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may restrict or block access to specific VoIP services, so travelers should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in France before purchasing a Mi eSIM plan.

Mi eSIM provides 23 single‑country plans that cover France and 47 multi‑country plans that include France. The plans span a price range from $1.66 to $198.56 and offer data caps between 1 GB and 100 GB. Among the available options, 21 plans feature a daily data cap—where the data allowance is reset each day—while 49 plans offer a fixed data cap that applies for the entire validity period. This gives travelers a broad selection of pricing and data options when choosing an eSIM for France.
