Saily eSIM Data Plans for Germany

Saily does not provide a truly unlimited eSIM for Germany. The plans that carry “UNLIMITED” in their name actually give a maximum of 5‑GB of high‑speed data per day, or a total of 30‑GB for certain long‑duration plans, after which the speed is throttled to 1000‑kbps (or 1‑kbps for the longest global plans). Because of these hard daily or total limits, the plans are not unlimited.

Travelers can instead opt for fixed‑data plans. For instance, a Germany 20‑GB plan is valid for 30 days and offers the full 20‑GB of high‑speed data. A Germany UNLIMITED 10‑day plan supplies 5‑GB per day for ten days. Fixed‑data plans are generally more cost‑effective unless a user needs to consume a very large amount of data.

Saily does not provide any eSIM plan for Germany that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The only options available from Saily for Germany are data‑only plans. Travelers wishing to make voice or text communications may use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in Germany before purchasing.

Saily offers a selection of plans that cover Germany. The catalog contains ten single‑country plans that are limited to use in Germany alone, while a separate set of 22 plans includes Germany as part of a multi‑country coverage bundle. Across both types the pricing ranges from about $4.49 to $159.99, the data caps vary from 1 GB up to 50 GB, and the validity periods span from 7 days to 365 days. The single‑country plans typically come as fixed data packages, whereas the multi‑country options may include daily data caps or fixed amounts, allowing travelers to choose a structure that best matches their usage patterns.
