eSIMFOX eSIM Data Plans for Indonesia

eSIMFOX does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Indonesia. The only plans labeled “Unlimited” in the provider’s catalog actually have a 2 GB/day cap and, once that limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps. For travelers who need more data without these throttles, eSIMFOX offers several fixed data plans such as 20 GB, 30 GB, 40 GB, and 50 GB for 30 days. Choosing one of these fixed‑data options is usually more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer who might benefit from the “Unlimited” labels despite the daily cap.

eSIMFOX does not provide an Indonesia eSIM that comes with a local phone number or SMS capability. The available plans are strictly data‑only, so no inbound or outbound voice or text is included.

Travelers who need messaging or calls can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to these apps, so it is advisable to verify that the services you rely on are available in Indonesia before buying a plan.

eSIMFOX offers 10 single‑country plans and 6 multi‑country plans for Indonesia. The available plans cover a price range of $2.99 to $55.99 and a data cap from 1 GB to 50 GB. Among the options, a few provide a fixed data allotment while a couple allow a daily data cap, giving travelers flexibility between a set amount of data for the plan’s validity and a daily usage limit.
