Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Indonesia

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Indonesia. All plans labeled “Indonesia UNLIMITED” actually allow 5 GB per day of high‑speed data; once that amount is reached the speed is throttled to 1024 kbps.

Customers who need more data can choose Kolet’s fixed data plans, which are valid for a set number of days and offer larger data allowances. For example, the 20 GB for 30 days plan costs $33.49 and the 10 GB for 30 days plan costs $22.49. These fixed plans typically offer a better value for travelers who consume high volumes of data, whereas the “UNLIMITED” name may create misunderstandings about the actual data limits.

Kolet does not offer Indonesia eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only supplies data‑only eSIM plans for the country.

Travelers who need voice or messaging can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, although access to these services can vary by destination. Researchers and travelers are advised to confirm that the VoIP apps they rely on are available in Indonesia before purchasing a Kolet data‑only eSIM.

Kolet provides a total of 13 single‑country plans and 10 multi‑country plans that cover Indonesia. The available price range spans from $3.99 to $121.80, while data caps vary between 1 GB and 20 GB. Across the plans, some offer a fixed data allowance, whereas others are structured around daily data caps, giving travelers flexibility depending on their usage needs.
