Nomad does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data plan for Italy.
All of its plans that carry “unlimited” in the name actually give a fixed allowance of 2 GB per day; once that daily limit is reached the speed is reduced (the reduced speed is not specified in the data).

If you need a larger volume of data, Nomad offers fixed‑cap options such as a 50 GB plan valid for 30 days at $45 USD or a 2 GB/day plan for 10 days at $31 USD. These can be more economical unless you require unlimited high‑speed data.

Nomad does not provide an Italy eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available. Travelers can still use applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage to make voice and message connections over the data plan.
