BNESIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Malaysia. The only plan that carries the word “Unlimited” in its name is the Malaysia Unlimited 10 days plan, which actually offers 3GB of high‑speed data each day, after which the speed drops to 1 000kbps. Travelers who need larger data allowances can choose from the fixed‑data plans available, such as 100GB, 50GB, or 20GB, each with 30‑day or unlimited validity. These plans provide full‑speed 5G data up to the specified limit before any throttling occurs.

BNESIM does not provide any Malaysia eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All eSIM offerings from BNESIM for Malaysia are data‑only plans.

Travelers can still communicate using data‑based VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage, which allow voice, video calls and messaging over the internet connection provided by the eSIM.
