EsimForTravels eSIM Data Plans for Malaysia

EsimForTravels does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Malaysia. The plans labeled “Malaysia Unlimited” are fixed‑data plans that allow 3GB of high‑speed data per day; once that daily amount is reached, the speed is throttled to 1 Mbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose from EsimForTravels' higher‑capacity fixed plans, such as the 50GB 30d plan or the 20GB plans available for 7, 15, or 30 days. These plans provide a larger amount of high‑speed data with no daily speed reduction within the validity period.

EsimForTravels does not provide a Malaysia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for Malaysia, so travelers who need a traditional mobile number or text messaging will not have those services available. If calling or messaging is required, the use of VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection is possible, but users should confirm that their preferred apps work in Malaysia before making a purchase.

EsimForTravels offers 26 single‑country data plans for Malaysia, with no multi‑country options. The plans range from $4.54 to $63.78 and provide between 1 GB and 50 GB of data over 1 to 30 days. Four of the plans are daily data cap plans, limiting usage each day, while the remaining 22 are fixed data cap plans that allow the full data amount to be used over the validity period. Tethering is allowed on some plans, and speed limits of 5000 kbps with a reduced speed of 1000 kbps apply to certain packages.
