The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually contain a fixed data allowance—most commonly 2GB or 3GB—after which the connection speed drops to 1000 kbps. Because of this throttling, the plans are not unlimited in the sense of continuous high‑speed data.

If you need a larger amount of high‑speed data, Yatelo offers several fixed‑data options. For example, the MYS 50GB 30 days plan provides 50GB of unrestricted 5G data for a month, and the MYS 20GB 30 days plan offers 20GB for the same period. These plans allow you to avoid speed reduction while still keeping costs predictable.

Yatelo does not provide an eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability for travelers in Malaysia. The provider only offers data‑only eSIM packages for that destination.
