eSIM Hero eSIM Data Plans for Mexico

There is no true unlimited high‑speed data plan from eSIM Hero for Mexico. The plans labeled “Unlimited” actually provide 2 GB of data per day with a reduced speed of 1000 kbps after the allotted amount is used. This means the unlimited name does not grant an uncapped data allowance.

Instead, eSIM Hero offers fixed data plans for Mexico that include larger data bundles, such as the 50GB plan valid for 30 days or the 20GB plan also valid for 30 days. These fixed bundles provide a set amount of high‑speed data within their validity period and may be more cost‑effective for travelers who need substantial data without the speed reduction that the “Unlimited” plans incur.

eSIM Hero does not provide a Mexico eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Customers can only purchase data‑only plans from this provider for use in Mexico. Travelers who need voice or text services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Mexico before making a purchase.

eSIM Hero provides 15 single‑country data plans and 22 multi‑country data plans that include coverage in Mexico. The single‑country plans offer a fixed data amount ranging from 100 MB up to 50 GB, with prices spanning roughly $1.50 to $134.75 USD and validity periods from 1 to 365 days. The multi‑country plans also provide fixed data amounts, though the specific data limits vary more widely; prices are within a comparable range and validity terms extend across several months. This variety lets travelers choose a plan that fits a short stay or an extended trip while staying within the overall price range.
