FootySIMs eSIM Data Plans for Mexico

FootySIMs does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Mexico. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” actually give 1 GB per day and, once that amount is used, the speed is reduced to 512 kbps. These are fixed data plans rather than unlimited plans.

Travelers who need a larger data allowance can choose from FootySIMs’ fixed data plans, such as the 1 GB/day plan valid for 7 days or the 1 GB/day plan valid for 30 days. These options offer a higher total data volume than smaller bundles and can be more cost‑effective for most users, unless an extremely heavy data consumer requires truly unlimited high‑speed data.

FootySIMs does not offer any eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS functionality for Mexico. The available plans are data‑only; travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging. However, be aware that some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm the availability of the apps you rely on in Mexico before purchasing.

FootySIMs offers three single‑country data plans for Mexico, with no multi‑country options available. Two of these plans are based on a daily data cap while the remaining plan provides a fixed 1 GB data allowance; prices for the plans range from approximately $3.01 to $78.23, with validity periods of 7 to 30 days.
