Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Mexico

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Mexico. The plans labelled “UNLIMITED” give travelers full‑speed data up to 5 GB per day; after that limit, the speed drops to 1024 kbps. If a user needs more data without speed reduction, they can choose one of Kolet’s fixed data plans. For example, the “Mexico 20GB for 30 Days” plan offers 20 GB at standard 5G speeds for 30 days, and the “Mexico 10GB for 30 Days” plan offers 10 GB for the same period. The fixed‑data options can be more cost‑effective for travelers who consume significant data.

Kolet does not offer any Mexico eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIMs for Mexico. Travelers who need voice or text can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these apps are accessible in Mexico before purchasing the plan.

Kolet offers 13 single‑country plans for Mexico, which provide a specific amount of data for a set period ranging from 1 GB to 20 GB and priced between $3.99 and $111.49. In addition, Kolet provides 23 multi‑country plans that cover Mexico along with other destinations; these plans also feature a range of data caps and prices similar to the single‑country options. The single‑country plans are fixed‑data‑cap plans, where a predetermined amount of data is delivered for the entire validity period, while the multi‑country plans often include a daily data cap option where the total data is divided across each day of usage. Overall, consumers can choose from a broad combination of prices and data limits to fit their travel needs.
