SimOptions eSIM Data Plans for Philippines

SimOptions does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for travelers visiting the Philippines. The available plans from SimOptions are fixed data bundles, such as a 100GB plan that is valid for 180 days and costs $111.50 USD, or a 60GB plan valid for 90 days costing $66.90 USD. While these plans offer large data allowances, they still have defined caps and validity periods. For most travelers, choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless the user requires truly unlimited data usage.

SimOptions does not provide a Philippine eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. The eSIMs sold by the provider for the Philippines are data‑only, so travelers who need traditional voice or text services would need to rely on VoIP applications.

Over the data connection, apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage can generally be used for voice and messaging, but certain destinations may block or restrict access to specific services. Travelers should verify that the VoIP apps they rely on are available and functional in the Philippines before purchasing an eSIM from SimOptions.

SimOptions offers eight single‑country data plans for the Philippines, with no multi‑country options available. The plans cover data amounts from 1 GB up to 100 GB and are priced between $2.50 and $111.50, depending on the chosen data cap and validity length. They are primarily fixed‑data packages that allow travelers to select a specific amount of data for a set number of days.
