For travelers who need larger amounts of high‑speed data without a daily cap, Nomad offers fixed plans such as a 50GB plan valid for 30 days in Portugal, priced at $45.00 USD, or a 30GB 365‑day plan for $65.00 USD covering Portugal and many other countries. These fixed‑data options may be more cost effective if you expect to use well over a few gigabytes during your stay.

Nomad does not provide a Portugal eSIM that includes a local phone number or the ability to send and receive SMS. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for travelers going to Portugal. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages without a traditional phone number or SMS functionality.
