Yatelo eSIM Data Plans for Taiwan

Yatelo does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Taiwan. All of its Taiwan plans are capped, the most generous being the “ASI Unlimited 3GB” series, which offers 3GB of high‑speed data before the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. Travelers who need more data can choose from fixed‑data options such as the ASI 20GB 30‑day plan at $13.26 USD or the TWN 20GB 30‑day plan at $15.00 USD. These plans give a larger high‑speed allowance, but they are still limited in quantity. Selecting a fixed‑data plan can be more cost‑effective for most users unless they anticipate an extremely high data volume.

Yatelo sells only data‑only eSIM plans for Taiwan, so no plan includes a local phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS messages. Travelers who need a phone number for calls or text messages will need to use another provider that offers those services.

Because the eSIM plan gives full data access, you can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to make calls and send messages over the internet. Some destinations may restrict or block certain apps, so it is wise to check that the apps you rely on are available in Taiwan before purchasing a plan.
