Nomad does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed eSIM plan for Austria. The plans that carry “unlimited” in their names, such as Local Austria – 3 Days – unlimited or Local Austria – 10 Days – unlimited, actually allow 2GB of high‑speed data per day. After that threshold the data speed is throttled to 1000 kbps.

For travelers who need more data, Nomad offers fixed‑data alternatives, for example Local Austria – 30 Days – 50 GB or Regional Europe – 30 Days – 50 GB. These plans give a larger total allowance of high‑speed data, which can be more cost‑effective for heavy data users compared with the 2GB/day “unlimited” options.
