“I have to say, I was a little hesitant about making the switch to an eSIM an decided to go for it for my long trip to France (6 months), but I am so glad I did! The transition was a breeze and the customer service team walked me through every step of the process and it litteraly takes 1 minutes to install if you follow the instructions.. Not to mention, I have never experienced such an amazing network coverage (Paris area and south west of France in Bordeaux). Plus, the internet speed is lightning fast, making it perfect for all my streaming needs. The eSIM feature has been a game changer for me, with the added convenience of being able to switch between devices without having to constantly change SIM cards”
“do not waste your money on this e-sim
I bought a esim, and activated it, I thought that was it.
they don't say that in some countries you must register your details before using it
so I tried to register my details but it was in a foreign language, and the registration site did not respond, eventually I gave up
the customer support is terrible as you can expect from a Chinese base company
they refused to refund even though 0 bytes were used
”
“I purchased the 30Gb eSIM with unlimited calls and texts from simoptions.
It worked seamlessly in France, Spain and Italy. 100% worth it”
SimOptions for France FAQ
Does SimOptions offer unlimited data eSIM for France?
SimOptions does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for France. All available France plans list a hard data cap in the Data cap column, such as 120GB, 100GB, or 60GB, which is the maximum high‑speed usage allowed before a new plan must be purchased.
Travelers who need large amounts of data can choose from SimOptions’ fixed data plans. For example, the “My European eSIM 120GB” plan offers 120GB for 30 days at $55.90 USD, and the “Travel France” plan supplies 100GB for 30 days at $33.90 USD. Selecting a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless a user expects to consume data at an extremely high rate, in which case a different provider with an unlimited option would be required.
Does SimOptions offer France eSIM with phone number and SMS?
SimOptions does provide France eSIM plans that include a phone number and SMS capability. The available options range in price from $28.90 USD to $55.90 USD and are valid for 31 days. Each plan uses a local French dialing code of +33 and supports inbound and outbound voice calls as well as inbound and outbound SMS. Travelers who need specific call or messaging features should verify the details directly with SimOptions before purchasing.
How many data plans does SimOptions offer for France?
SimOptions offers a total of 17 distinct data plans for France, with 9 options covering only France and 8 plans that include France plus other countries. The plans vary widely in price, from $1.50 to $57.50, and in data allocation, ranging from 1 GB up to 120 GB.
