abesteSIM eSIM Data Plans for Germany

Yes. abesteSIM has unlimited data eSIM plans that are valid for use in Germany. The plans are sold in daily, three‑day, five‑day, fifteen‑day, twenty‑day, and thirty‑day packages, with prices ranging from about $2 USD for a one‑day plan to roughly $170 USD for a thirty‑day plan. The unlimited options are listed with a data cap of “Unlimited” and are labeled as such in the Features column.

The network is 5G, and the plans typically allow tethering. Speed may be throttled after high usage and the maximum speed is 10 000 kbps. abesteSIM applies a Fair Usage Policy, so speeds can be reduced after a certain amount of data is used at normal speed. If you want more details about the precise throttling threshold or about any other restrictions, it is best to contact abesteSIM directly.

abesteSIM does not provide a Germany eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for German destinations. Users who need to make voice calls or send text messages can instead rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, travelers should verify that these apps function properly in Germany before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict specific services.

AbesteSIM provides 51 single‑country plans that cover Germany alone and 532 multi‑country plans that include Germany as part of the coverage area. These plans span data caps from 200 MB up to unlimited and are priced between roughly $0.41 and $171.45. Depending on the plan, the data may be offered as a fixed amount or as a daily cap, and some options include features such as tethering or reduced speeds.
