abesteSIM eSIM Data Plans for Malaysia

abesteSIM offers a range of unlimited data eSIM plans for Malaysia. The plans vary in validity from 1 day to 30 days and are priced from $1.58 USD for a 1‑day plan up to $27.75 USD for a 30‑day plan. Each plan advertises unlimited data and attains a maximum speed of 10 000 kbps, although the network may throttle speeds after heavy usage under a fair‑usage policy. Travelers concerned about potential speed reductions should contact abesteSIM for confirmation of how normal‑speed access is affected after extensive usage.

abesteSIM does not provide a Malaysia eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase a data‑only eSIM from this provider. However, popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can generally be used over the data connection for calls and messaging. Some destinations may block or restrict access to specific apps or VoIP services, so travelers should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in Malaysia before purchasing.

The abesteSIM catalog for Malaysia contains 92 single‑country data plans and 449 multi‑country plans. The portfolio spans a price spectrum from about $0.40 to $157.82 and offers data caps ranging from 200 MB up to unlimited. Plans are split into fixed data‑amount packages—where a set amount of data is allocated for the entire validity— and daily data‑cap packages that provide a certain amount of data per day. In this case, 242 plans feature a daily cap while 299 are fixed‑cap offerings.
