eSimfly eSIM Data Plans for Malaysia

eSimfly does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Malaysia. All of its plans marketed as “Unlimited” actually allow a fixed amount of high‑speed data – for example, the Malaysia Unlimited 30 Days plan gives 3 GB per day with a reduced speed of 1000 kbps after the data is used. These are fixed‑data plans with a set validity period.

If a larger data allowance is desired, eSimfly offers fixed plans such as the 100 GB 31‑day global plan for Malaysia or the 50 GB 30‑day plan. These provide a hard cap but are still useful for most travelers who need a substantial amount of data without the need for continuous top‑ups.

eSimfly does not provide any Malaysia eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The only options available from this provider for Malaysia are data‑only eSIMs. Travelers who need call or messaging functionality can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Malaysia before purchasing, as some destinations may restrict or block specific apps or VoIP services.

eSimfly lists 12 single‑country data plans that are available only for Malaysia, covering validity periods from 3 to 365 days and ranging in data caps from 1 GB up to 100 GB. In addition, there are 51 multi‑country data plans that include Malaysia as part of a broader regional portfolio. Prices for all of these plans fall between approximately $2.16 and $100.19 USD, while the data caps span from 1 GB to 100 GB. Some of the plans have a daily data cap structure, while others provide a fixed data amount that remains unchanged for the entire validity period.
