Gigapanda eSIM Data Plans for Malaysia

Gigapanda does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Malaysia. All plans labelled “Unlimited” include a daily or total high‑speed data allowance, after which the connection is throttled to 384 kbps. Because of this fixed data cap, the plans are considered fixed data plans rather than unlimited.

For travelers who need substantial data, Gigapanda offers larger fixed plans such as Malaysia 50 GB for 30 days at $37.90 USD, Malaysia 30 GB for 30 days at $26.90 USD, and Malaysia 20 GB for 30 days at $19.90 USD. These options provide a high‑speed allowance that can be useful for most trips, and the cost may be more economical than choosing a plan that only provides a short daily limit.

Gigapanda does not provide eSIM plans for Malaysia that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans from this provider. However, they can still use popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages. Some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, so it is advisable to confirm that the VoIP services you rely on are accessible in Malaysia before purchasing a plan.

Gigapanda offers 12 single-country plans and 12 multi-country plans for Malaysia, giving travelers a choice between local-only or regional coverage. The plans typically range from $6.90 to $59.90 in price and provide data caps between 2 GB and 50 GB over validity periods of 3 to 30 days. Some plans feature daily data caps—limiting the amount of data that can be used each day—while others have fixed data caps, offering a total amount of data to consume within the entire validity period. This variety allows users to select a plan that best matches their usage patterns and travel duration.
