GigSky eSIM Data Plans for Malaysia

GigSky does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Malaysia. All of its plans for the country have finite data caps.

Travelers can choose from a range of fixed‑data options instead. For example, GigSky offers a World Plan Lite with 100GB of data valid for 180 days, and an Asia Pacific plan with 50GB of data valid for 90 days. Fixed data plans are generally more cost‑effective for most users unless an extremely heavy data consumption is anticipated.

GigSky does not offer a Malaysia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The plans available for Malaysia are data‑only. Travelers can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but they should check that the apps they rely on remain accessible in Malaysia, as some destinations may block or restrict certain services.

GigSky lists 12 single‑country data plans that can be purchased for use in Malaysia, in addition to 52 multi‑country plans that include Malaysia within their network coverage. Among these offers, plans with a fixed data cap—ranging from a few megabytes up to 100 GB—are widely available, while a smaller set provides a daily data cap that applies during each day of the plan’s validity period. The overall price spectrum for available plans is roughly from free to about $180, and data limits span from 100 MB to 100 GB, giving travelers several options to suit various usage needs.
