Horizon eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Malaysia

No. Horizon eSIM does not provide an unlimited‐data eSIM for Malaysia. The only options available for travelers to Malaysia are fixed data plans that specify a hard data cap and a set validity period.

Examples include the Malaysia 50GB 30Days plan, which offers 50GB of high‑speed data usable for 30 days, and the Malaysia 50GB 180Days plan, which also gives 50GB but can be used for 180 days. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most users, although very heavy data consumers may need to purchase additional data or consider other providers.

Horizon eSIM does not provide a Malaysia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered for Malaysian travelers. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging, but some destinations may restrict or block specific apps or services, so it is advisable to verify the accessibility of those apps in Malaysia before purchasing an eSIM.

Horizon eSIM offers 12 single‑country plans and 13 multi‑country plans for travelers in Malaysia. The available plans span a price range from about $0.31 to $309.16 USD and provide data caps between 100 MB and 50 GB, with validity periods from 7 to 365 days. Some plans also allow tethering, giving users flexibility to share data across devices.
